If O is the cause of Canada’s departure, is that cause for O to be fired?

I think it should be, but I don’t think Alleva will do it. With better talent at QB, Canada’s offense will be killer. Starting over with a new offensive scheme will be a setback for the program.

It’s definitely cause for Alleva to be fired, which MUST happen first anyway.

ETA there’s been cause for Alleva’s firing for a long time, this would just add even more fuel.

There has still been no actual reports of him even being interviewed for another job and the threads are just continuing to pop up every 5 minutes. How about at least waiting until there is a clear indication of him leaving before starting 1500 threads about him already being gone.

True, but there have been several posters claiming to have “inside information” that he is gone. These claims may be complete BS, and I hope they are, but coupled with the well documented reports of friction between O and Canada and the reported meeting with Alleva about O’s meddling with the offense, there’s certainly grounds for concern and discussion.

O has said that he’s learned his lesson about trying to micromanage, and that he would hire the best people and let them do their jobs. If that is BS, O should go.

I think the rant should be able to elect the assistants each year, and if they f up, then we fire coach O.

Fire the coach that won it all after changing the OC?
Makes sense.......just like the rest of your dumbazz posts.

Besides, Jimbo left for HC in waiting, and half the fanbase wanted OC change anyway (as usual).

Go read Dandydon, Detillier has some interesting comments about the offense O said he wants to run and it ain't the spread. So he has gone away from his comments about running the spread last year. I think he will screw this up royally if he runs Canada off this year. He talks about him wanting to run the USC offense back from early 2000s problem is that 12 years ago and we don't have those athletes.
