He's leaving.

The first thing I would tell him is to avoid reading message boards like this one.

Then I would tell him to stay and compete. He's always one play away from being the starter, and he'll clearly have a chance to be the starter in 2024. Use this year to compete and get better. If he doesn't win the job coming out of Spring '24, then he can revisit things.

Then I would tell him to make his own decisions, and that I would support him in whatever he decides.

Did you not like what you saw against Bama? Without that Dual Threat, LSU loses that game.

Take the running game from Jayden, he's average. Look at the games he was held in check.

Jaden is who you want to manage a game. Nuss is who you want if you need to come back and win.

Don't know enough about Howard.

love that narrative. “Rabble rabble we need a FAIR competition but if Daniels wins that means it was rigged!” Maybe Lin Wood and Sidney Powell can look into it.

Ate up son. Poor guy

Damone has some social problems. He's in the "community" if you know what I mean.

If the priority is a good education, then I'd tell my son to transfer out of LSU right now. LSU is a prime destination for athletics. But, not for higher education.
Agree don’t think that sets LSU apart from anyone else.

The team seemed to rally around Nuss in the 2nd half vs UGA. So what's your point?

Do you really think Kelly and Daniels sat down and agreed for him to come back to be the 2nd string QB. Really?????????????????????????????????????????????????

sooooooooooooooooooooooooo ur telling me the Qb competition will once again be a red herring? and a crock of shite? no free and fair competition? already decided jd5 is the greatest?? i mean we all know now that he was promised the starters job otherwise he was not transferring from a starting P5 spot at ASU. which made last years race a red herring and filled with disinformation and misleading.

but if that shite happens again this year....wow just wow if so

nobody answered in other thread so i will ask it here

Y’all are all up in arms about him throwing for over 200 yards in a half when Jayden did the same team in the same game.

nuss threw for 300 and jd5 was not consistent throwing all year. his intermediate numbers were trash coming from ASU and we showed you. most his stuff was short stuff. hell i think his deep ball rate was worse here than at ASU.

quick question a YES or NO will do.

is JD5 a better downfield passer YES OR NO?

so you feel jayden is a better reader of defenses and has a better downfield ability?

Damone, Lester Earl and Tehal hate white people and therefore, hate white athletes.

Nuss needs to get in the portal early. The earlier the better ain’t no way there will be a fair competition. BK hitched his wagon to JD and he won’t do anything different.

Exactly my thoughts

Go look JDs throws and then look at Nuss. Nuss were real passing yards. 50 of JDs yards were all Boutte. Big difference.

JD is not a better QB than Nuss. He is only better at running and has more game experience. He has proven over 4 years starting he doesn’t know when to get rid of the ball. He takes too many sacks and this year was no different. He took 43 which was 3rd most among college QBs.

What are you talking about?

Not football related but story goes:

There was a puppy playing by train tracks. He was having so much fun he didn't hear training coming and boom train caught a little piece of tail and cut it off. Puppy ran off but couldn't stop thinking about it. He goes back to track to look for his tail. Boom as he is looking train came through and chopped of his head. Morale is don't lose your head over a little piece of tail.

I don't know if Nuss needs this talk but if he was my soon I would give it anyway.

That talk is not allowed. You will be called a racist or crazy for even insinuating that.
I know from first hand experience.

Does anyone think outside of a JD injury or mop up duty Nuss gets any PT? Come on man…

Only LSU homers would say they would tell him to stay and compete. Nuss is stuck between a senior and the freshman future of the program playing for a coach who doesn’t want a gunslinger qb. He can go to another good program and light it up, put up big numbers, and get himself drafted.

Do you believe that JD can play an entire season without having any injury?
