No because you didn’t like my arguement so you pointed out a statistical Outlier. But you don’t want anyone to talk about whether that’s a good point or not.
Yes Auburn was untalented
No them winning a NC isn’t fricking normal.
How does that relate to Brian Kelly? Isn’t that the topic here? Do you think Chizik is a better HC?

You brought up team groups not me. Your point didn’t hold water and when that was pointed out you tried to blame me for the direction you took the discussion. You’re arguing against a fact and it’s taking you in all kinds of other directions which don’t change that fact.

I’ve made normal responses to things you e said in the conversations.
And when I do That you accuse me of setting up statesmen or changing the subject.
My original point stands. Notre Dame has produced a lot of OL, TE and not a lot of QB, RB, WR or CBS.
Positions that are somewhat important to winning a championship.
Alabama and Clemson and LSU and OSU have produced a decent amount of all of those. And Clemson may have less total players, they still had a ton of talented guys condensed on those championship teams.
So we can talk about Auburn, but we both know thats an outlier.

They’ve had more QBs drafted than us. You keep branching off into other topics and applying standards that don’t hold up to the slightest scrutiny. Trying to blame me for your deflections and straw men is just sad.

The truth police, you sir are wrong, Lane is poison to a program. Just ask Tennessee how Kiffin left them. They (Tennessee ) even had a community waste treatment plant named after Lane after he bailed out on the Volunteers. Lane is hated up there. I personally want a man with integrity, morality, and compassionate to those he’s in charge of such as Coach Kelly. Getting away from the Irish and choosing our tigers was the best thing to happen to both parties. Aligned folks ( love our AD for getting a man with quality characteristics, and put $$$ back into our football program ).

Don't think so he's 4-12 against top 10 teams at Notre Dame and LSU. His offensive philosophy needs some modernization

I would agree with you 10 years ago but Kelly and his refusal to adapt to a modern offense will be his undoing.

Tennessee isn’t that good. Yes they bashed us but be realistic and level. They had 4 fumbles everyone of them bounced right back to them. A dropped east pic. LSU handed them 13 points before the pre game fly over was done and the game was over. And to say he had a more depleted roster than LSU is simply wrong.

Talent is the topic. I’m not branching offZ you just don’t like that you’re wrong.

Mett was at UGA when Kelly was still in Cincinnati. He doesn’t count

What?

How do you count a player during Kelly’s tenure at ND who was playing college ball before Kelly was there?

Because that doesn’t change anything.

Did he not get drafted from
LSU?
LSU?

What nonsense.
According to 24/7 Tennessee had 62 upper class scholarship players in 2021 10 of which are transfers so 52 remaining from the previous team. They also had 25 commits. Not sure how that works but I'm guessing someone got processed.
LSU entered 2022 with 55 upper class scholarship players 16 of which were transfers. That equates to 39 scholarship players remaining from the previous team. they also had 14 commits.

You missed the part UT had 35 transfers before CHH even coached a game. And almost all the starters gone in that 35. Which lead all schools in transfers. Don’t let the facts get in the way. Also LSU is #8 talent wide while UT is #19

LSU #8 talent in country
UT #19 talent in country
2022 Team Talent. (Spoiler, LSU has more Talent than UT)

What is the point of hiring somebody if they need to adapt after year 1? Can someone seriously answer this. Why wouldn’t we just hire someone with an updated offensive philosophy?
Posted on 10/10/22 at 10:41 pm to SammyTiger
At the same time Mett was playing Kelly’s QB at Cincinnati was an NFL draft pick but we don’t count Pike because he didn’t play for ND. I get that you don’t understand because you couldn’t care less about the truth or objectivity so no need to strain yourself. It’s loud and clear you’re nothing but a waste of time.
