They have Hooker and he makes everything look better on offense and we don't have that guy. Our overall talent is the same as Tennessee. Handy discussed this postgame.

Of course you don’t have a clue what you’re talking about, why am I surprised. There are 45 Notre Dame players on NFL rosters, 6th among college programs. Nothing you’ve said is true and your responses are silly and childish. You’ve only proven my point when it comes to people like you.

And how long did that last? Did Milton play all season?

“They have to have been at Notre Dame within a 5 year period of each other. “
Lmfao, try harder

Like I said, as predictable as the seasons

I am talking about when he took over a 3-7 last year and lost 35 players to the portal going into his first year.
Ok how many did we lose? How many did we even start with?
There are 16 guys from the 2019 and 2020 classes on our team right now

A 24y/o QB can hide flaws!! See Ed Orgeron

Yea, build a NFL with Ian fricking Book.

What would it matter if he had 3 NFL backups in year 1 and 2 starters in year 6 and 5 starters in year 10?
They weren't on the field together.
LSU has had years with 20+ NFL guys all on the same roster.

Predictable deflection
Questioning the supposed "NFL" roster's most important piece is a deflection?

Nobody has their entire NFL alumni on the field at the same time genius. You’re making up qualifiers that don’t make any sense.

I'm just waiting on the QB and Running Back and OGs, just to name a few

You are very dense. I knew that coming in but it is still amazing sometimes.

Yes because I never said you could build a super bowl roster with Notre Dame players. You’ve turned me pointing out they’re 6th among all college teams in NFL talent, something that idiot denied, and turning that into a completely different statement. It again proves my point when you’re wrong you try to deflect.

Ironic since 2 of those positions are filled with ND players and the guard position has 2 All-Pro talents including a guard who will make the all decade team and has been the best guard in the NFL for several years.

I haven’t read this thread yet because the OP sucks and this same short-sighted comp. has been done 15 times since Saturday, so doubt there are many insightful replies through 3 pages.
HOWEVER, I do think an interesting discussion would be about just how turned around Tennessee’s program actually is right now. I like Heupel and think he’ll be good at UT, but how much is Hendon Hooker possibly covering up? Not only is he super talented with an offense suited to those talents (kudos to Heupel here), but he’s also 24 years old and that maturity shows up in it only his decisions, but it rubs off on the whole team. We saw it a bit with Burrow here.
Obviously Hooker is not UT’s only good player, and I’m not discounting the credit Heupel deserves for going out and getting him, developing him, and tailoring their offense to his strengths. But what do they look like after he’s gone? Has Heupel actually turned their program around into something that can be sustained yet? Or did he find a generational QB in his 2nd season and is taking full advantage? Will be interesting.
And I’m just talking about Tennessee, nothing to do with LSU next year or any other year. I think their situation is interesting, and they’re a fun team and program to watch moving forward.

It’s just not an even distribution
1 CB
1 RB on injured reserve
5 WRs
1 QB
For reference, LSU has
3 CBs
2 RBs
4 WRs
1 Qb
On NFL rosters from the 2019 team alone.
Skill position talent isn’t comparable.

8 vs 10 is not comparable?

Its not. That’s All ND players in the NFL vs NFL players from 1 team at LSU. Not all 8 of those players were at NFL at the same time.
You don’t think LSU in 2019 Having 3x as many CBs as ND has total in the NFL means something?
Active players
WR LSU 6 Notre 5
TE LSU 2 ND 4
RB LSU 4 ND 0
CB LSU 6 ND 1
S LSU 2 ND 4
I probably Couldnhabe includes White but he’s PUP still.
The CB ratio is insane. The RB ratio is insane.
If you wanna go look at production WRs isn’t close.
