Who would be your suggestion of a replacement, that would be a candidate for his job.
From zero to three straight tourney appearances is a pretty good resume. I wouldn't bet against us getting back to the tourney again next season.

Yep. Nothing to do with PM. Alot more to do with wanting Dean as a replacement. That had to be based on his ties to lsu, because it damn sure isnt based on what he has done as a head coach

Deans first few years were good while he was younger and had some drive and got some players based on his name. But UNO is still UNO and Nola isn’t attracting players. It’s much tougher and he’s gotten a little jaded with it. Wish he could get out of that hell hole.

Well we're pretty well against outmatched opponents but the past 10 seasons we really didn't do that. Problem is Florida and Vandy have better pitching, and maybe Arkansas too. We'll have to just out hit them if we hope to win a natty.

O’Sullivan has had more talent at Florida than CPM has had at LSU and they have the same number of championships and CWS final appearances.
Plus he is not leaving Florida. Why would he? He will never be fired there because Florida doesn’t care about baseball and he can recruit the most talented team in the sport without getting on a plane.
Tony Vitello is the guy LSU should go get. He was the recruiting coordinator for those talented TCU teams and also Arkansas. He is young and the next great coach in the sport and would leave Tennessee for LSU in a heartbeat.

You all know I white knight for PM. Most of the reason is I feel like he's a good HC and a couple bad seasons does not equal FiRePawL. That being said, I also white knight for him to piss off the rant just a little bit.
What the RANT doesn't understand is- Paul will never be fired from LSU. He might retire in a year or three. He will never be fired. Just got to accept it. Doesn't matter what you think about him as a head coach, he isn't going anywhere.
So you baws can bitch and moan, moan and bitch about CPM but he's going to leave LSU when he wants, not when you want him to go.
