If the offense puts a lot of points up on the board against New Mexico State I think we have a real chance of being ranked (21-25) heading into the auburn game.

Then you have the matchup against auburn who I believe we beat. That could get us higher up.

Let’s go on a run boys.

We need the teams ranked 18-25 to lose. I don’t believe any lost yesterday.

No and we shouldn’t be ranked. If we beat New Mexico State and beat Auburn like Penn State did, I think we will be ranked. If we were to win the next 3, which would also include Tennessee, we should be ranked in the high teens around 18

I hope not. I like the underdog role

We are playing the University of New Mexico Lobos, not the New Mexico State Aggies.

First off, it's New Mexico, not New Mexico St (different teams)

Second off, I highly doubt it unless just about all the 15-25 teams lose because New Mexico isn't good at all

If we improve game to game like we have so far, I fully expect us to give Tennessee all they can handle when they come to Tiger stadium.

Probably wouldn’t be ranked unless we beat Tennessee. New Mexico is awful, Auburn is also awful.

Probably need to win the next 3 games to be ranked.

LSU moving up this week will be based on the performance of others. LSU cannot help themselves in the ranking vs New MExico but can hurt themselves.

October will determine if LSU is ranked going into the Alabama game, that's AUburn, Tennessee, Florida, Ole Miss in that order. Win 3 of those and we may be in the top 25 (I'd say probably). Win all 4 and we definitely are, probably deep enough to stay top 25 with a loss to Bama.

If we end up 7-1 with wins over Tenn, Fla, and OM, we're knocking on the door op top 10.

Didn't look like we received any votes to be in the top 25 so I think we will need a couple more W's and some ahead of us loose.

It's not a bad thing to be the underdog for a while and sneak up on people.

I think you could argue that FSU is the best team in Florida this year. it looks to me like UFs Utah win was a fluke and Miami looked awful yesterday. meanwhile FSU has something in Travis even though he might be hurt now
