LSU has the ability to do something no other team in the country can do against bama...cover their receivers.

Let's see how they handle that when its not all wide open all the time.

if you forget the first two drives, because the score would be 14-0

I think our schedule prepares us for this game. Bama hasn't had a real test yet

Yes. Saturday's effort doesn't guarantee us a victory, but there's no way someone could say that the LSU that played on Saturday was not capable of beating the Tide at home.

Absolutely. LSU has the ability to beat any team in the country. I think playing with consistency week to week is the next step for this team. Important to be playing your best football over the next couple months.

Ehh, maybe... but with better red zone production, absolutely.

if LSU plays as good as it did, and bama plays like UGA did, I think we win. otherwise we play like bama forces us to play. same ole shite, just a different year.

Sure.

But the question is:

Can you beat Bama twice?

That is the measuring stick for teams in the West.

You have to beat them during the season, then win the SECCG for the right to rematch them in the playoff.

LSU, right now, is basically Auburn last year.

Auburn having to play the SECCG while Bama sat at home killed AUs shot at the playoff.

Isn't CFB great? LOL

I think our defense can hold bama to under 21. I'm concerned about our oline holding up against their front 7. We need to stay as healthy as possible there. If not it'll be a repeat of FL.

It will be interesting to see how Bama responds if LSU punches them in the mouth like they did to UGA. Bama hasn't had to show up for more than 2 quarters yet this season, and won't until LSU (Hopefully).

That said, it's fricking MSU week so why don't we save the Bama talk for Sunday?

If the Oline stays intact, Joe will hit those couple missed deep balls and we will begin to see those big plays turn into 7 and not just 3 points.

Red Zone offense has to be more aggressive, no doubt we’ll pull out all the stops against Bama.

Only thing I would is say is they would need to cash in a few of those field goals for touchdowns. Bama is beatable.

It would be if we finish off 2 or 3 more of those drives in the end zone instead of fgs

Of course. If we play like we did Saturday, Bama can stay within 14 of us
