I have faith in this team but it’s certainly within the realm of possibility that they lose to Bama.

If that ends up being the case...does everyone here still support O or do we go back into fickle fan mode where only LSU would be dumb enough to hire this coonass, etc?

If Bama wins, most of us can’t say we’ve been blindsided. Given what they have been doing all season, Bama is one damm strong team. So is LSU, and we could win. That would be the stuff of dreams come true. But either way, afterwards we need to win out and get into the playoffs or else a good NYD bowl.

I knew this team was capable of being 10-2 to 12-0 BUT I had little faith in the coaching staff. I personally predicted 10-2 with only loses to Georgia and Alabama. I sure as hell didn't think we would be in playoff/sugar bowl contention right now

If he can keep the team focused and win out, I'll be a believer. 10-2 would be solid it also depends how the team plays vs Bama if he has them ready and makes changes etc. I'm honestly wondering how coach Steve does vs Bama last time he went against lord Saban he got completely shut out, and imo that's on coach o also this is his guy

As an outsider I’d say O deserves a lot of respect if he wins out after we beat y’all. He’s not doing any worse then the big money SEC coaches, actually he is doing a lot better then most this season and exceeding expectations at LSU. That said I wouldn’t rush to give him a contract extension or build a statue to him even y’all somehow beat Bama next weekend. Wait to do that until after we see y’all again in the playoffs.

I was a huge O doubter. glad I was wrong. He learned a lot from Pete Carroll on how to run a program in terms of management and He is a great motivator. And Aranda is the best defensive coordinator and an overall football genius.

I think if that happens, we have to win out. We lose to Bama and drop that Aggie game and there will be people upset. Specifically about the Ensminger hire.

Let's be honest, we are winning with lights out ST play and great D as well as turnover margin. The offense is pretty much the same statistically as it has been the past 4 years. Burrow is more clutch when we need it, but the overall offensive numbers aren't any better and in some cases worse.

Let's see how Dave does vs tua before we call him a football genius. Remember he couldn't find a way to slow down Florida run game when we needed it, he's really good but there has been times we have needed a stop to win a game and his defense couldn't get it done. How he comes out the first half with out Devin white and how they perform will say alot.

Depends on how we lose and how we fare the rest of the season. If we get blown out by Bama and lose to TAMU to finish 9-3 (5-3), that's mediocre. As I've always said, I'll judge O on his full season results. Anything else is premature.

Hopefully this whole question is moot and we win.

Since when does "everyone" on TD agree on anything?

Agreed 100% colonel, we aren't finishing drives and kicking a bunch of field goals. We are going to need coach Steve to finish these drives for tds in this game and this is coach O guy. So it will speak volumes even if they lose and come out playing their arse off most of the fans can live w that, but if we have to settle all game for FGs instead of touchdowns and Bama puts up points people will get started up.

A loss to Bama this year doesn’t change my opinion at all of the accomplishment Orgeron has had with this team this year. Now, if after a Bama loss, we drop some more games? Yeah, that would change how I feel.

The team/defenses we’ve gone against this year are WAY better than last year. Our O would shred last years schedule
