I know Burrow transferred from Ohio, but if LSU signs Parrish and POSSIBLY gets a new OC. Do you think this coaching staff would actually start Parrish over Burrow? We've seen coaches make this adjustments before with great results.

We are going to have an assload of disappointed fans when Orgeron answers questions about who the OC is going to be next year. Ensminger isn't going anywhere.

The guys you've seen lately that are starting as Freshmen are enormously talented. Tua, Lawrence at Clemson, fields at Georgia are all 5 star guys and 1 or 2 in their class. Not saying Parrish can't do it but it's a long shot.

I think Burrow will be better next year with a full offseason in the program and a season of starts under his belt.

He could be even better if the o-line improves and/or a new OC.

Such a dumb fricking thread.

A) Burrow is the starter as long as he is here.
B) Parrish isn't even that great of a prospect.

He's 18/25 for 200 yards and 2 touchdowns. Has played in every game and has 3 rushing touchdowns.

Nor should he. He hasn't had much to work with this season for sure.

This isn't true. Parrish has talent and will be a good QB for LSU.

I stand Corrected

Still 25 passes in 9 games isn’t a lot. He’s not the starter. Running QB backup

Parrish splits time with a junior QB who is brought in to pass the ball during his games.

Parrish is atleast 3 years out from ever taking a live snap at LSU.

Burrow is a talented 23 year old experienced QB.

Slow down there.

Parrish is and will be a great quarterback for LSU

Oh for sure. 100% we start an 18 yr old freshman site unseen over a 5th year grad transfer who just led us as high as #3 in the country the year before after we employ a coach to be named later...

Do you people read what you write?

So. OP is wondering if a 3 Star QB can come in as a True Freshman and replace an incumbent Senior starter?

Dear Lord. I hope not.
