I haven't read through this entire string, but in case anyone hasn't mentioned it, LSU did have helmet stickers at one point during the McClendon years. If you can find an old picture of Charles Alexander, you'll see them. Basically, they were just really small stickers of the Tiger that it currently on the helmet.

They did have them at one point and it was the LSU tiger decal that is on the helmet currently but at a smaller scale.

Yeah... It's hard getting all the way to page 2 on these highly technical, wordy threads.

Somewhere in my head there's a thought trying to formulate which involves asking if you're the type that thought all restaurants only served appetizers and salads... Where are all the main courses listed that everybody around you seems to know about, etc...

I remember those well. In the 1970's they ALL did it. Tiger Paws would look like Clemson, and while I have nothing intrinsically against Clemson, uh, no thanks.
