If we beat Alabama by more than a touchdown it would be pretty tough to argue that someone is more impressive. That Florida win is looking a lot better. If they can win out from here we will have a very solid resume

In theory the CFP shouldn't be basing their rankings on preseason ones like the AP/Coaches. I wouldn't be surprised to see LSU #1 with wins against Florida and Bama (and to a much lesser degree, Miss St).

Wrong, OSU is this years FSU. I expect them to be 3 or 4 on Tuesday. Clemson, Baylor, LSU/OSU.

The funny thing about the situation is Alabama doesn't have an impressive resume now and needs to beat LSU to validate themselves. If LSU beats Alabama they are another two loss team without a super impressive win.

The problem with Gundy wasn't that he took the high road on SEC Championship Saturday after winning Bedlam, it's the fact that he sandbagged his own team the previous week. If he doesn't underplay his team's status and merely starts laying out his argument early(something that had been done by head coaches since the inception of the BCS), maybe his team plays LSU in January.
It wasn't the high road he took. He pulled over to the side of the road and let Alabama pass him and then tried to catch up later.

Nobody can say Ohio state will stay number 1 because we don't even know yet if they are number 1 in the eyes of the playoff committee.

I don't know why this really matters honestly...its not like in the olden days aka 2013 and before (olden days...i know...I'm funny lol).
