Seems to me that our recruiting has been under par for the last few years. We have been spending so much time on pitching which is good. our pitchers all throw in the 90s but do they all have good breaking stuff????? Movement wins games anyone can throw the ball straight! Any opinions??

We just hired a new proven pitching coach in case you missed it. Results will follow.

I think if LSU makes the postseason, he is safe. Hell, I am not sure Alleva even knows we have a baseball team...

If we don't make a regional? He's gone. Hosting? No? If LSU crushes the regional, who cares if we hosted or not? If we make it to the CWS, why would we care about hosting?

Why is this even a thread? We have plenty of baseball left to play.

of course, fire them all. football, baseball, basketball, the a.d., softball, womens basketball, and track for the hell of it.

This team needs to worry about making a regional, hosting seems far-fetched right now

K. Gausman is projected damn near the number 1 pick in the upcoming MLB draft. I'd say that's a good thing.

To answer your title, yes. Not hosting a regional in three straight seasons would definitely put CPM on the hotseat, or at least it should. We have seen how JA is handling Trent Johnson..

Can you at least wait until after SEC play before you claim the sky is falling?

If you've watched enough baseball, you know it's about streaks. LSU can get super hot or super cold at any point in the year. It's all about getting hot at the right time...

LSU is still feeling their lineup right now.

Nah

If we miss a regional altogether, then he may start to worry a bit and better perform in 2013 though

30 SEC games left to play this season, lot of baseball to be played over the next few months

Just asking an opinion. I guess i'm just a little disappointed in the recruiting. I know we have alot of baseball to play and hope we do well. I'm not saying fire the man I was just asking if his career is in danger if they don't go somewhere this year.
