We win the national championship next year. So much talent on both sides of the ball returning with a solid recruiting class coming in. This was Kelly’s mulligan year to get Nuss ready and he didn’t. I don’t care what you idiots say, Kelly made the wrong decision.

I agree, Kelly needed to sacrifice this season and the players efforts for Nussmyers. He deserves it.

By idiots, are you speaking of yourself? Bc Nuss shouldn’t have been the starter.

National Championship?

QB aside, LSU is nowhere near NC caliber at RB, CB, S, and special teams.

He would avg 4-5 turnovers a game judging by his playing time this season.

That's not ready unless you want a 5-6 loss season.

4 turnovers in the Bama, UF game makes them losses. Same for Ole Miss and Ark games.

I get it's exciting watching him sling it around but sorry the amount of turnovers he produces would not be good for wins

Who taught you the game bro? You play a lot of madden? Or was it the talking heads on tv? He is by far the best QB on the team.

I’d say 2023 will be on par with this year. Still plenty of work to be done with this squad but what a turnaround from the last two seasons. If we can ink a stud RB in the 23-24 signing class, new special teams coach, then 2024 can be an all the chips in year.

He’s averaging a to for every quarter he plays. Not game, every Quarter!!! And people think this is good enough

I bet you liked Romo too. Good stats. Lots of turnovers. Couldn’t win shite.

You can develop a QB without starting them. Most of the development is made during the week and, especially, the off-season. Things like working on fundamentals and mechanics, arm strength, overall strength and conditioning, reading defenses, understanding the playbook - not just your position, but also what others should be doing - those are things that can and should be learned off the game field. Nuss looked pretty solid last night. I’d wager they’ve been developing him just fine.

Homie just completely disregarding the lack of depth on defense.

Lifelong cowboys fan here and Romo is garbage. Nuss can’t win? Based on what? He’s hasn’t gotten a chance yet

CBK not in to sacrificing seasons. He saw what we all saw the makeup of this fragmented roster suited and elusive conservative QB. Now next years roster remains to be seen. Let it play out. And enjoy the process.

Avg a turn over per quarter, won't win many games.

Watching him sling it was exciting and fun, but in the grand scheme if your turning it over 3-4 times a game, that's excessive and not a recipe for a starting qb

He’s a redshirt freshman. He’s still developing. He’s improved in his decisiveness. But he still has a ton of room to grow. If you watched the game yesterday, you can see his ceiling is clearly very high.
