I would DEFINITELY hire him as an assistant to help with coaching the RBs on blocking

He’s the kind of guy who finds a role in the NFL. He’s a better RB than people give him credit for. He’s also incredibly unselfish and will happily play special teams.

Unfortunately he lacks the speed and athleticism of premier backs, but he has more heart and effort than most players in CFB. I hope he gets on a roster. The kid is a coach's dream.

I don’t think he will make the NFL. I want him too, but his size and speed just isn’t there.

Look at Clyde, better and struggling to make teams at this point.

Yeah he looks like an NFL player to me. Does too many of the small things well.

Ironically if he makes it to a 53 man roster he will likely have a longer career than those premier guys and still walk away from his playing days with his health. He'll get used in relief and on special teams instead of being pushed to breaking with 20+ carries a game.

I don’t know that he will make it in the NFL due to the reasons discussed in this thread. I have a sneaking suspicion however, that he will succeed in life.

I love Williams and don’t understand why he was basically like the 4th string rb this year after what he did last year, but he doesn’t have skills to play in the NFL. He’s not as good as CEH, and CEH is barely surviving in the league.

It’s a matter of where he lands as an UFA. In the right situation, he can definitely make a practice squad and hang around for an opportunity.

That said, the kid has a marketing degree. He may be just fine going out into the business world. Tell me he will ever struggle to find work in LA. His game tape will be resume enough for many employers.

His ability to pass block alone will get him a look in the League
