Just wondering who people would like to see hired as our basketball coach if Jones is let go?

I would love the coach from Wichita State!

This Guy right here!

Why does everyone want Jones fired? I've been told for a couple months that previous colossal failure is a good thing because coaches learn more that way.

According to that page, he is making just under Coach O's salary, at Wichita. Do you think we will pay enough to get him.

To be completely honest No, but if our program became one that was going to the tournament every year and then generating a profit instead of just costing money then, yes he would be worth every penny!

Wait.... Nope that isn't what it states, at least I am fricking idiot that can read and comprehend!

Thanks LSU for the fricking education!

Stansbury is the correct answer. We can offer Marshall 4.5 mil a year and he wouldn't come. He's waiting for a blue blood school to open up. Alabama offered him near 4 last season and he said no. We won't offer anyone half that and he wouldn't come anyway.

This guy
We see every year limited talent Jesuit schools nobody's heard of with talent nobody's heard of making waves at the dance with coaches just like this...... just fundamental, technical play oriented instructors.

Sad to say but according to Hanagriff basketball is still the number two revenue sport at LSU at a profit of 3. some odd million per. Those were the numbers for 2015-16. So JJ is running the program into the ground at a profit.

Fred Hoiberg. Very hot seat with the Bulls. Makes 1.6 million. Was fantastic at ISU. Grand slam hire.

I'd prefer Marshall but think it's unrealistic. Hoiberg is unlikely but more realistic than Marshall.

I don't want to hear the name Kermit Davis. Or Mark Gottfried. Or a Duke guy. Or some unproven rando.

I know we're not UK or KU, but we're not that bad as a program. Some history. New facilities.

Grand slam: Marshall, Hoiberg
Homerun: Mike Brey
Stand up double: Archie Miller, McCall
Single: Stansbury

Marshall is a pipe dream
Hoiberg would get a better gig
Brey has been at ND forever, not leaving
Miller is going to NCSU (alum)

Best met is McCall. Stansbury would be no better than bringing Brady back

He has ties to Louisiana. Played at Northwestern State. Alleva and Duke ties. Makes 1.7-1.8 million.

I know. I just can't see him leaving ND. Better conference. Success. Been there since 2000. And I don't see LSU offering anything ND couldn't match
