I have a feeling that Nuss will start all of the cupcake games past the midpoint of the season.

If the offense looks like Swiss, he might have to

Height 6' 0?, Weight 194 lbs

As heavy and 3" shorter

I mean not really. I see QBs his size every year all over the country.

Yeah, he isn't thick, but not like he is skin and bones. This "he is too skinny" take is tired and overused.

Wow! Big difference. Go look at the pictures of both. Their body composition is almost exactly the same. BY looks just as skinny as JD.

Manziel was no more than 190 lbs at A&M.

Yeah, Young is not exactly a heavyweight himself yet he survived an entire SEC schedule en route to winning the Heisman.

Bryce Young is passer not a running QB. Bryce had 0 yards rushing last year. That's right ZERO YARDS RUSHING

Doesn’t mean he didn’t get hit. Still got sacked etc. Daniels has played 29 games and never been hurt.

You just let everyone know you are an idiot & that you don't watch games because Young took some shots last season running & in the pocket yet he shook them off.

Meh…it’s not THAT big of a difference.

If little Kyler Murray can run on NFL defenses, then I’m sure Jayden will be fine.

I don't think it's a big issue; have you seen his highlights? The guy knows how to run, and not get crushed.

There are lots of WRs out there his size, and durability isn't an issue. Yeah, I know, more carries etc. But Daniels ain't running the Wishbone, he's not going to average 10+ runs a game. He's going to take off when he sees a lane, and go out of bounds or slide when he's about to get hit.

I think he'd do it enough to impact the defense, to where they contain instead of try to flush him. Once they do that, he can stand in the pocket and throw downfield without much pressure on him. If he's accurate with that, this could be a hell of a team.

You are the stupid one of course pocket passer take hits. Running QBs are hit like RB

^^^this. I agree. I think people are going to be shocked how good JD plays for us this year. Tons of studs at WR and what’s going to be a very stout defense. 10-2 is the floor.

Except JD has regressed every year. And now hes in the SEC . . . . as a running QB

Fresh - 203/338 2943 yds/ 8.7 ypa/ 17 tds 2 ints/ 149.2
Soph - (4 games) 8.3 ypa/ 5 tds 1 int/ 145.7
Jr - 197/301 2381/ 7.9 ypa/ 10 tds 10 ints/ 136.2

Pac12 rankings:
8th att
8th comp
8th ypg
8th ypa (adjusted)
10th TDs
2nd ints
7th efficiency

People are too down on this guy. He could have a Vince Young-like season for us. He’s talented. I am pulling for him to put it all together.
