If Jay is preaching four days of rest do we see Jump and Holman again this tournament?

Hell no. They are done until regionals. Please don't try to start a rantards narrative that we have to read constantly until this tournament ends.

Only time you consider doing it more than once is in Omaha.

I think the benefit of four days now is putting them in a position to be very fresh heading into the regional

Absolutely not. 0.00% chance

LSU has gotten what it needed from this tournament already imo, they will rest until regionals.

But if we win the tournament will we host?

It's a question that would only be asked by an idiot.

They pitched on 4 days rest because these two games (mainly the UGA game, but this one put the icing on the cake) were pretty important. None of the rest of the games in this tournament really matter at all. There would be absolutely zero reason to throw them. We have a regional to win.

Jump would be on 4 days rest if we make the championship game.
He threw 104 pitches against UGA, so no we won't see either pitch until regional play.

I never claimed to be smart. But if it gets down to later in the week and it seems like LSU could be a potential regional host do you risk it?

the announcers would destroy Jay if he brought those two guys back in this tourney
you've accomplished what you needed to do, playing with house money now
the only thing left would be possibly doing enough to warrant a 2 seed but that would mean probably winning the tourney

That's very clear by the thread, and now this....

The answer is a flat out no. There is zero chance you see Jump and a -100 chance you see Holman again in this tournament. Nothing you can think of if your pea sized brain will change that.

Im sorry I offended your hypotheticals. Let me ask did you think Skenes should’ve have started against Tulane?

No. We needed to win a game or 2 solidify our spot in the post season. You don't risk anything further because there isn't much to gain. No way we go from bubble team to hosting even if we win the tournament.
