They have like 8 guys, if they can’t find 1.5 or 2 to stop WRs then they’ve failed miserably

I dont see what yall see in Stamps, he was getting burnt and mossed most of the time. I cant even think of one good play he made when he was in the game. Those mediocre wide receivers from Wisconsin had a field day on him. To be honest the shite was embarrassing.

The DB’s won’t be the issue. It’s on the Dline to step up.

A lot of no-names on that list as well as unproven talent. I see them getting carved up again this year.

He is the guy with the physical size/speed to really make an impact as a DB this season. Not sure about what position, but hopefully his athleticism and ability to 'do his assignments' will have him contributing at a high level.

In limited action, Kylin Jackson appears to be the one who looks like he can be a dude. I'm hoping the new staff can get him involved early.

At corner who knows. The rumor out of walkthroughs is that Stamps and Woodland will be with the 1s at the start of camp. That's terrifying.

I don't know if it was coaching, but I do know it wasn't lack of talent. Whatever it was, that LSU defense was too talented to have the results it did. The defense this year may be a little deficient, but I look at teams like Iowa and Utah and even Mizzou last year as teams the consistently overachiever and I hope that we can do a little bit of what they do every year.

I think he was the best of the bunch and they all played without any cohesion. I saw him wrap up and he seems the only db able to keep up if he didn’t bite on a fake which everyone was doing.

It’s just a hope nothing concrete that I saw. I do not think we are as severely lacking in talent in the defensive backfield as it looked last year. I am hoping a better defensive scheme that takes shots and some chances will allow the defense to play better understanding where the weaknesses are when u stunt etc and we can keep it in front of us for the most part

DB is in far better shape this year than the last two. It's not elite but it will be serviceable

Think Kylin Jackson is #2 star behind the major.

Agree with you on DT but at least DT has plenty of veteran depth that has been proven to be serviceable at a minimum. Although no ALL-SEC talent, they are at least average.

Our DTs and DEs have shown nothing to indicate that they were average last year. They were absolutely putrid

For a true freshman who played hurt I'd say he did a pretty good job.

Corner/nickel as of now. We’ll see how the fall plays out.

Burns , Alexander and Ryan all pretty much suck . Let’s hope the others can be better than them . My impression of Gilbert is that he will be similar to Burns. If so , we will suck in the secondary again . Kylin and Toviano are better players than Burns and Gilbert .

He played through needing surgery and wasn’t all that bad. Couple that with another year in the strength program and actually being healthy he could be solid.

It was. Go to 8:18 in second quarter vs Ole Miss when they score to go up 28-14.

Legit nobody picked the WR up. Not knowing what coverage you are in is 100% on coaching
