If I wait to buy LSU Wisc tickets, will all of the good seats be gone?

I am looking to get field level seats in Lambeau. I am concerned though, that if I wait for the price to come down, all of the good seats will be gone.
Thoughts?
Thanks for your help,
Mike

There will be seats on the secondary market up until game day, but I doubt the prices will drop much as kick off approaches. You will be able to find good seats at anytime, but they are going to cost you a lot.
The best price will probably be outside the stadium from scalpers, but it's always risky to count on that, especially if you want multiple seats together.

Bigger issue is finding a place to stay. Nothing available around there according to expedia

Staying across the street at Stadium in Motorhome. 855 Lombardi Ave. No hookups at $105.00 a night.

I scored a shitter motel room right across the Fox River from Lambeau. I was shocked. I reserved it 10 days ago. $130/night. I found it on trivago.com

I am looking for three seats together so buying from scalpers probably won't work.

I'd check Stub Hub pretty often and if you see three seats together that you like, go ahead and buy them. There's no guarantee that prices will go down, they might even go up. If you're willing to spend 400-500 bucks a ticket, you can get some lower bowl seats around the end zone - 20 yard line.

Prices likely will not drop on stubhub but they will drop here on the ticket exchange and they will drop once you are there. People sell them them there expecting the biggest return.
Buying them now on stubhub gives you security, but that security will cost you. I can almost promise you there will be face tix available to face value on the ticket exchange a week by mid August.
We know for a fact we have one extra that we will probably hold on to (just in case) with full expectations of selling it for face value once we arrive in Green Bay.

Ha! Well maybe not first row field level. But field level with a view.

What I am seeing online (Stubhub, vivid, seatgeek, etc.) there aren't really that many tickets available. It's not like the closer to game day, people are going to put more tickets up onto those websites, right?

The other day when everyone was going off about "ordered 6, got 6", etc., it seemed that a lot of people never expected to get tickets. This could mean that a lot of ticket holders don't have plane tickets or rooms. Could be a lot of tickets free up in August.
