If I just saw the final men’s bball score I’d be pissed too…..but if you watched

You saw a team come back from 24 down, 19 at the half to take the lead with 2 mins to go.
They did that cause McMahon coached them and they hustled and played defense and lot better…
Yes losing to Nicholls sucks, but I saw things I liked in that second half.
I give McMahon 3 years to be fair… if we lose to in state schools next year yeah fire they guy, but the guy can coach. We need players

LSU lost this game in the 1st half. Yes we made a great comeback but came up short but we played like dogshit the 1st half and dug ourselves a massive almost 30 point hole

Should never fall behind by 24 to Nicholls. Soft defense for first 15 minutes lost the game.

We just put ourselves in too big a hole in the first half. We couldn't score and Nichols couldn't miss. Defense was terrible in the first half, very good in the second. Our offense against the zone was really bad in the first half but much better in the second. We weren't ready to have to play hard against Nichols. But their coach scouted us well and negated Baker in the post and we could hardly hit a three.
It is just the second game and I am not ready to give up like so many of you. The talent is there, we just have to do a better job of ball handling and quit making mental mistakes. There were at least a hundred dumb plays in the first half and four or five in the second, anyone of which could have turned the game around. The last was the foul by Hanibal which gave them two easy points at the free throw line, at a time when we were playing good defense and grabbing loose balls and rebounds.

I may be the a-hole but I’m not trying to hear we fought hard vs Nicholls. Miss me with that noise.

He was hired due to the investigation and in case we got the death penalty.
He is done if he shits the bed so bad year 2. Look at that area, no one’s was there. It is a sunk cost at this point, we would make more money firing him than retaining him.
