You completely missed the point.
Orgeron inherited a program that had 4 straight top 10 classes. Miles was not fired because of not being able to recruit, he couldn’t do anything with all that talent
Saban did not inherit a team full of blue chippers , in either 1999, or 2007.

Discussing a 9-3 LSU season without noting who the losses were to or who the wins were over is stupid and not getting to the heart of the LSU fan split over the season. It also doesn't speak to past success or failure of the three guys.
The climate on here will be this way until O wins the west, beats Alabama, or makes the playoffs because he came here with a shitty history of head coaching success and defeats the likes of Mississippi State and Troy sure the hell do nothing to change that climate.
If you don't like the climate, take it up with Alleva. He's the one who it to us.

Neither Fisher or Herman wanted LSU, so what is this argument about?

Alleva could not stop the press leaks and both Fisher and Herman did not trust him to back them.
For those who said Fisher was just playing with LSU, yes he is now playing against LSU and competing for QBs/WRs.
Herman took 3 different QBs in one year to win. The last, Cardale Jones, in his first start in the Big 10 Championship beat WISC and Melvin Gordon 59-0. We started that season eking out a win over WISC because have their team went down with injuries. Herman could have come here and won immediately and had the #1 Recruiting Class.
Both Herman and Fisher addressed the lack of QB development and ability to recruit, now slipping.

I do not understand the ‘banning’ policy. Name calling, obscenity, personal attacks and such should be, but having an unpopular opinion should not. If one looks objectively at the so-called process that led to the current HC hire, one could reasonably conclude that little thought went into it. What was the goal of replacing Miles? To hire someone like Ed Orgeron? Surely not. How on earth could he have been the best available choice? That makes no sense to me. So then, what really was the goal? Just getting rid of CLM? Very short sighted if so.
