I suggest you find other recreational interests during the Eaux era. No reason to be overly invested emotionally in what's happening right now in the football program. If 9-3 is success then yay. If you're hoping for championships like some of us, then you need to accept this isn't the coaching staff to do it

I hate to give them zero chance, Stephen. I have my doubts, but I think you have to give the guy his 3 seasons and then let's make a proper evaluation. I don't think the OL injuries are an excuse for how low the offense is ranked, but I do think it's a valid reason why they haven't been in the top 5 or so of the conference.

I think this was an ok season although i predicted 10-2. I'm disappointed with the Florida and ATM losses but so be it.

I don't disagree with you Looney. Just to be clear though, does next year count as year 3 or are we gonna wait to start the clock until the last les Miles recruited player is off the roster since apparently Miles recruiting coordinator was an incompetent jackass

I count next year as year 3. I just don't believe the interim year should count. Your basically driving someone else's car in the race. At least now he just borrowed parts off of the car and built it the way he wants it. Good job this year, not great. We need to see some greatness soon though.

Agreed. I mean it's not the end of the world but let's at least be honest as a fanbase. 9-3 is ok. If that's the goal and we are cool with being mid tier then let's just say it. If we think LSU should be competing with Bama then let's hold those standards and expect accountability when we fall short, you know?

Seems like we still want to think we are elite but the truth is the results are slightly better than average. Again, it's not the worst thing in the world but let's get our story straight collectively.

Do we expect to be elite as a program or are we ok being good with maybe a great year once a decade? Asking bc greatness doesn't leave room for excuses on an annual basis. Greatness wins and overcomes more often than not. At some point, you just look at this shite and say ok you know what, the historical mean says we are a mid tier program. Don't like it? Change it. Excuses don't lead to change

End of rant. Happy holidays buddy
