If Drew Brees can play at 205-210 lbs, why does Brennan need to be 225 lbs?

Not saying Brennan has Brees’ ability to avoid taking sacks/hits, but when did only weight become synonymous with durability? A little pocket awareness and agility can make up for any short comings in the weight department in my opinion.
Maybe Doug Nussmeier can help Brennan there

He is. He's still a teenager in many ways. He will add the weight when his body adds it for him. Nothing to worry about.

I fear for his safety, particularly so without Clapp.
He'll need to add much more solid weight in order to withstand the hits. (Hopefully, up to the 215-220 range by Pre-Season camp)............

I've stood next to Drew Brees. I'm 5'11". He was taller than me by an inch or two. He had cleats on, but he was taller by enough for me to notice.
There is no question that he is 6 feet tall.
