I can see him leaving next year if he doesn't lock down the job in the spring, but to say he leaves this season would show me he doesn't have chest. Daniels is only here for one year. The only other QB on roster is a true freshman.

Trust me Nuss will get plenty of game time with Daniel’s running the ball a lot… If he runs in the SEC like he did in Arizona he’ll be banged up a lot!

I seriously doubt he transfers before the season. It makes no sense to do so when all it would take is for Daniels to get hurt or not play well and then he is QB1. Especially since he wouldn't be able to play somewhere else this year anyway. If Daniels holds serve through the season then I could see it but doing now would be dumb.

If Nuss transfer’s after sitting out the bowl game for a red shirt year I’d absolutely be pissed. I think him playing in that game would have given him a significant edge this year…

This. Kelly did use multiple QB's several times at ND. If one is not head and shoulders above the other, he'll put the other guy out there if things aren't working.
