I don't understand why Bech is being treated as a quick twitch, bubble screen guy. He's not. I think you're dead on. He's a great safety valve in the slot.

Comparing Miles football and applying it to modern era now is stupid. Pay attention to football now.

LSU has been less than 500 the last two years and the receiving group is still stacked with talent. I repeat one season of mediocre QB with a first year head coach is not going to scare the players off. Y’all are so overdramatic about every little thing.

Did you not pay attention to what happened to our roster when a new HC come in? Being overdramatic? lol what? Do you not remember how many players hit the portal the past few years from LSU even WRs? I think you need to take the blinders off buddy and pay more attention to what's going on at LSU.

I agree with that, you need Bech on the field. At least split time, the freshmen will be great but he is not there yet.

The offense is awful. Something must be changed.

The LSU Offense under Denbrockcameroncrowton is very quickly approaching the "Definition of Insanity" stage where the OC's ego and stubborness are causing performance problems on the field.

We've all seen it before; not hard to observe and get a sense of deja vu........

It's been well documented that there are receivers running wide open throughout games and Jayden can't find them. But you think it's the OC.

Bech is a more than willing blocker. I think BK has a bit of a Les Miles stubborn streak. All he has to do is go back and look at last season to realize that not only is Bech a good blocker, but he is a great safety valve for the QB which Daniels desperately need. If he wants a really good run blocker, put Mashburn in Taylor's place.

Honestly if he really wants to utilize Daniels' strengths as a runner and help him as a passer he needs to go spread. It will open more potential run lanes and give him more receiving options. Right now teams are loading the box and bringing safeties down because there is no deep threat and they want to take away Daniels as a runner. The scheme puts Daniels at a disadvantage.

I like Taylor and think we will be a very good player for LSU. With that said if you are going to call all these plays for his position, put Bech in that spot who is more sure-handed, a match up problem, and can get better YAC against those match ups. We NEED to make some changes to get our best position group - arguably on the whole darn roster - the ball so they can help the team. We are wasting their talent and their opportunity to impact the game.

Last game withstanding, when targeted WRs you need to catch the darn ball. We are better than this, and hopefully we will see that OFF this Saturday.

Isn't it much more simple for Bech to just replace the WR with the most drops?

I don't get why Bech isn't on the field more. Taylor has missed so many passes, yes I know they weren't the best passes, but come on, he should've at least caught 50% of the ones he dropped. You have to help your QB out.

So if you aren't going to run Bech as a slot WR, he is a good WR and TE, get him on the field.
Taylor is not a good run blocker either. He just kind of jogs after the defender playing patty cake. I saw a lot of that. I think he needs to sit for a game and put Bech out there.
