I wouldn't be happy if they used the logo that looks identical to our old school Tiger.

What's funny is that an Alabama grad came up with the original design for that logo. For LSU I believe, but not sure.

I actually like this logo for them:

Maybe it's because it's lame and I don't want there to even be a chance I like anything about Auburn.

yeah that tiger eyes logo kinda blows. Auburn has a fantastic logo already with the interlocking A and U. They dont need an alternate one.

The "Pouncing Tiger" looks to me like a 15-yard penalty and ejection for spearing.

Click this link..

The LSU Tiger Sailor logo was designed for LSU by a Bama grad waaaay back in the day.

Everyone else based their version off of the original LSU version which was designed in the 1930s.

The logo was originally made for Occidental College by a cartoonist in Los Angeles named Arthur Evans. He worked for a decal company called Angelus Pacific. It wasn't originally LSU's, although I think the LSU design looks the best of the ones shown. And no, it wasn't designed by a University of Alabama graduate, nor was Auburn the first school to use it. The link provides a history of the logo.
