I wouldn’t go as far as Walt, but I do think Angel is overrated and isn’t even the highest rated future WNBA player on the team. She is a popular player in todays society… let you take that for what you think it means.
But watching LSU play…. She is not the best player on this team. Even last year, her game is sloppy and relys on rebounds and put backs.
Her offense is really non existent. I also did not love her boisterous display on the court “trying to be the leader” but I didn’t buy it.
Just my thoughts.
Again, I love having her on the team, but I think at times she can be a negative to this team if she doesn’t find her role. And her role may not be what she wants it to be.

Who was the star of the team last year? As for this year, IMO MW is the best player but that doesn't always make you a star. I don't like AR game because she lacks any moves in the post and just throw up randomly wild shot and quickly rebounds and scores off put-backs. I don't personally know her so I can't comment on her personality. However, all that said, AR is most definitely the star of this team. Don't let your disdain for her cloud your judgement. No way would her NIL deals be what they are with her being second fiddle to another player on her team. That's just a bad take.
