Idea for the Extra $10 million LSU recieved from the SEC

I know this is about a week late, but the First thing that comes to mind with what LSU should do with some of the extra money is to build a pedestrian bridge over Nicholson/HWY 30 at near Alex Box. A pedestrian bridge would greatly improve traffic flow before and after baseball games.
Anyone else have some ideas?

I could think of better places to put it like retaining programs/professors.

An elevated lazy river going from the parking lots, across Nicholson, and over to the Box.

Are you talking about the 31 million we received at the end of spring meetings?

That isnt what the Athletic Department is for.

We should be cutting dumb programs and professors, not retaining them

I think some of it already got earmarked for academic side.
I'm sure nutrition center will get some.
Football ops building upgrades are on horizon.
Maybe some swag golf carts for the golf team, they've earned it!

1. start saving it for a redo of the inside of TS
2. start saving for a new basketball arena

Retractable roofs for Alex Box, Tiger Stadium, and I guess the softball stadium (gender equity) and World Cup style soccer stadium and add men's soccer.
That way weather will never be a factor ever again!

The athletic department made a deal a few years back to give more than $7 Million a year to academic programs.

doesnt have to be. i remember tennessee having a decent looking one that went over the main strip.
Now if they made it look like the ones that go over the interstate then sure it would be ugly as hell.

Updating the inside of Tiger Stadium is solid idea.
I think a white squirrel breading program would be a great idea.

While I love the idea of a pedestrian bridge there, it is mostly going to help with the rising costs of scholarships. It will keep the cost of tickets from rising too quickly.
