By all accounts the player's like him and his offense....the bottom line is Ed can't get along with him. I think that stems mostly from the fact that during the hiring process he was told, by the Ogre, that he could run his offense. That seems to have changed by the Troy game....I'd be pissed at Ogre too if I were him.

It wasn't amazing
It was pretty awesome to see what he did with Danny Etling at QB and an O line that had two true freshman on it and WR's who dropped catchable passes
I really loved what I saw given the circumstances and I think he can improve with time

Yes, literally the only other time he has ever been a HC.

it sounds more to me that it's the other way around. in the early season, it was apparent that Canada was not getting the job done. it was right for the hc to be pissed. and it also appears that Canada is very hard to get along with, not just with his hc but perhaps with his fellow coaches.
it seems to me that every little thing is assumed to be one sided against O w/o any proof whatsoever

It wasn't amazing, but he had a backup QB from Purdue coming off of an arm surgery, 3 freshman OL due to injuries, an injured star RB for most of the season (the only returning star on offense) and very little experienced WR depth due to LSU having 3 WRs transfer after 2015 season. He had very little to work with and managed to make them look decent.
