The offense is putrid. Dinardo 1999 putrid. This is true until the Tigers prove otherwise.
I have hope that we can field an offense that moves the chains by developing a reasonable play mix which establishes some rhythm. However, until I see it I won't believe it.
The offense is like an ICU patient that has been paralyzed with neuromuscular blockers by Miles/Cameron. The blockers have been withdrawn but we have to see how long it will take for the muscle tone to return.

I will find where you live and burn down your house.

I'm kidding of course (I'm not).

What makes you think LSU would give up 35 points? If Mizzou has to score 35 then that's gonna be a loss for Mizzou. LSU's defense didn't lose any coaches besides Peveto, which is a positive. While gaining the GOAT DL coach. Good luck on scoring over 16.

Auburn did and they are hot garbage on offense. Your defense will be on the field the entire game.

Not only that, but they don't really know what offense to prepare for.

Exactly my thoughts. I wishe we were playing Bama sat instead. I don't think there is a team in the country that can beat LSU this sat night because their intensity level will be unreal.

I see where you are coming from, but that still isn't very worrisome. You can't tell me Ed O. installed a new offense in 6 days.

The game could go either way, but I'm serious when saying Mizzou isn't a team to sleep on this year. We run around 100 plays per game and have a defense that is prepared to stop the run.

If you win, it's going to be due to Etling absolutely killing it. Idk, I just don't see it happening.

WHy is the general consensus on this board that LSU will come out fired up and focused this Saturday?

The LSU locker room is full of a bunch of guys who signed to come to LSU and play for Les Miles. Firing Les mid-season should really tick them off. If they get behind early I could easily see them turning on the interim coach and I think it will only get worse as the season goes on.

Why is everyone here so convinced that LSU firing Les guarantees a good performance this week?

It's called hope. LSUs' weakness is both tackles. I don't see LSU blowing out u guys, but if LSU has early success u are in trouble. And what makes u think u are better than Auburn you've played no one.

T-Bob said all the plays are there and are practiced every week but we only run a few of them.
I wish T-Bob would spill the beans on the championship game now that Miles is gone.

Ravens fired Cam Cameron in 2012 and won the Superbowl with Jim Caldwell as their OC

Although Mizzou has played pretty good so far this year, I would also hate to be in their shoes come Saturday night in Baton Rouge. Let me get out my crystal ball.....LSU 37 Missouri 7

IMO with all of the distractions/changes there are more reasons to think LSU will come out and lay an egg this weekend. None of you have given reasons as to why LSU is going to be so fired up or focused for this game.

Mizzou needs to get going early and not get overwhelmed by the crowd.

I think you are about to see a totally different LSU team. I'm not just talking about the way the offense is ran but the enthusiasm from fans and this team will give Mizzou a rough time bud. This crowd will be in a flipping frenzy and it will effect your team. Just watch my man just watch. This is easiest your toughest competition and I think Dave Aranda will turn it up a notch in this game. So will the team but you do have a chance yes.

We are going off of practice reports and the fact that CEO is known for his motivational tactics. No way they don't come out fired up. Now it could hurt them if they are too amped up to do their assignments properly. Overthrowing balls, missing tackles going for the big hits, fumbles trying to do too much. It's should by a very energized team regardless.

I just want to score in the 4th quarter.

What an amazing fact. 4 games in. ZERO 4th quarter points.

They will be pumped in part to dedicate this game to the man they Love and in part to a new season. I think you gonna see a badass defense in this game. If it was not at home it's a different story but it's in Death Freakn Valley at night!!! They will be ROCKN. These fans and this team has wanted something to play for all season and well they have that now. Watch I think it's gonna be a special night.

Not everyone is but everyone is hopeful.

Our offense is inept until proven otherwise. However, if the Tigers have any success through the air, Mizzou will have a tough time. Our defense is much better than Georgia's.
Sometimes teams have a breakout game and find their mojo. If LSU suddenly finds its mojo on offense..... Again, seeing is believing!
