If he had stayed, maybe Jayden Daniels doesn’t transfer here. Brennan couldn’t break through as a pocket passer because we can’t protect a passer there. He did what he thought was the best thing for himself and as it turns out, the best thing for us.

I contemplate massive fights going on in the Johnson household. The kid's got daddy issues out the wazoo!

He’d be riding bench either place. Wish the best for him. He’s not a villain because he transferred after a coaching change

It was even more odd having thrown the walk off TD against them to end the season Perhaps his dad (FSU guy) was still intoxicated from Jimbo’s 2 years of success
there.

And as for Jake his #1 TE brother, he has 1 reception for 2 yards on the season. I think we did better getting Mason Taylor if you ask me.

Let’s just say the Johnson’s aren’t pleased with Jimbo and A&M. I’m hopeful that freshman class will have a mass exodus. Josh Pate mentioned that last night.

Screw him. He ditched us before a bowl game and screwed his teammates

Get some hobbies. Happiness from a kids mistake and possible regret is sad.

He’s a backup either place and I’m sure getting paid a lot more at A&M because of his brother.

He will get a shot soon. Unless he got a lot worse he is clearly better than king.

He knows how it feels to be a starter on a dumpster fire team. Completes the perspectives when he coaches one.

That's an excellent point. It's funny how fans were probably praying we would get Jake, and when Mason committed, we were disappointed that we got a mediocre TE.

WhyNotBoth.gif

We had both committed for a while, and given who our new coach is (and the state of our TE depth chart), I'd be pretty happy with both.
