That way we could at least have a 4th quarter at night in Tiger Stadium. This is a major advantage to Georgia being that it's a 2:30 game. Kind of ticks me off we didn't get an evening slot.

No worries - it’s CBS so the sun will probably be down by halftime.

Sun sets at 6:35 tomorrow. Should be about the end of the first TV timeout/Dan Borne announcement by then so plenty of gametime in the darkness.

This is such bullshite, no it isn't an advantage to Georgia, the stadium will be full and the fans will be rowdy.

While it’s easy to bash CBS for commercials, I’m not gonna lie..

The thought of having a close game in the 4th quarter and hearing “ladies and gentlemen, the sun will soon find its home in the western sky...” gives me goosebumps.

Was it an advantage for LSU playing at 2:30 last week? If we cannot get up for the #2 team in the country in the prime spot then our stadium has become way worse that what I ever thought it would become. Death Valley Jr. because Clemson has taken over as the real (or only) Death Valley. We are now only relevant as a fan base once every two years (Bama) and that has not worked out at all lately.

I don’t know if it’s a major advantage, but I know a lot of posters at DawgNation we’re glad to hear it would be a 3:30 game.
