I love LSU football and sat through some miserable games in Tiger Stadium. Les Miles is many things, but a good coach and strategist he is not. Alleva and the BOS have unfortunately sealed the programs fate for many years to come and unless they find something that would nullify his contract, it will cost a fortune to buy him out.

These opinions of Miles are even more pronounced outside of the Rant and LSU fanbase. As earlier replies captured, Miles has sucked the fun and life out of watching the games. You could see the loss to Clemson coming from a mile a way. Let's hope someone forces his hand and brings in an established offensive coordinator and support staff.

If you feel this way, why does it make you a pussy/cry baby/less of a man?
I don't get that part.
Bottom line is that there are many LSU fans that feel very similar to this. Why it pisses the Miles supporters off so much is beyond me.

I was starting to get over it until this guy I work with told me he knows a particular player that left LSU early last year to play in the NFL. He mentioned the 50 or so plays that were developed just for the game and only 1 was run. He mentioned the "CHOSEN" QB for the game being out partying the night before the game. He mentioned the argument in the locker room after the game where everyone was pointing fingers at the offense. He mentioned A particular type of run play that coaching decided should NOT be run against BAMA in the game and then it WAS run in the game to poor results. He also mentioned the offensive players excitement when Lee put his helmet on....they turned to look to see JJ come back on the field again and couldn't understand why. The particular player in the NFL now was not very happy with the offensive success. Then i started hating that game all over again.

to each his own, but I've found the past five years or so to be the most exciting I've ever experienced as an LSU fan. I don't see how you can't find these games exciting as all hell. If you're not having fun watching these games, I have no idea what you would consider exciting football. Because I'm naming my first ulcer, "2007".

Please do not confuse the Miles lovers with the facts. It up sets them to think Miles is not the reason for our success.

Look at the offensive rankings and compare them with the defensive rankings. If Miles did not have Chavis and great Louisiana talent he would be on the street. The defense has been carrying this team's water for a long time. Wake up people don't drink the cool aid.

I don't like needles.

But I do like exciting football. And we certainly have had that. there's no way you can tell me this has not been the most exciting era of LSU football. I mean, if you hate Miles because you think he's a moron or whatever, fine. I'm not going to convince you otherwise. But games aren't fun? Really? Games are more fun now than any other time in my life. I'm not going back to the Curley Era. Not gonna do it.

To each his own.
I didn't really get much fun from bama, AU, Clem, UF, Arky (off the top of my head).

If it really is truly national championship or bust in your mind, if you can't get any enjoyment out of seasons where LSU fails to win a national championship, then that's really a personal problem.

It's kinda like what slobbermouth Lou Holtz said about coaching (finally said one thing that makes sense) and it applies to being a fan; if the wins are more relief than they are joyous, then maybe being an LSU fan isn't for you. Watching football is supposed to be fun win or lose, and if it's not fun anymore for you, what's the point of watching?? Serious talk here.

Threatening "not to get over 1/9/12", well, it's laughable. No one cares. You're the only one attaching that ball and chain to your ankle. You can either let it go or not. Either way, there will be people to cheer in your place and you won't be missed.

Football is supposed to be entertainment, not life.

That game was a program killer just like I thought at the time. No fricking way was bama their boosters and saban going to allow les miles and lsu to win twice in one year, 3 in a row and a mnc. Was never going to happen. They came at us with everything they had....from dirty recruiting, espn cock sucking, and a very mysterious game at the dome. Don't know all what went on, but I do know the looks of a program killer because we have been on the other side of so many. We are done.

Next year will be ugly.

yep, the slide has begun.

Saban took Miles balls that day.

you also supported the CODCs, and believed changing OCs would fix the offense, Mett would be all world, etc, etc...

it has become a joke.

There is one common thread in this sweater...Miles.

Where did I say this again?

Watching putrid performance used to really piss me off. Now, apathy is more prevalent....not joy.

Just b/c you feel one way doesn't make it correct.
Watch I can turn this around.

-If you get great enjoyment from watching your favorite team underperform time & again and waste opportunity after opportunity to win championships (albeit all the while having good results), then I feel sorry for you with your ability to accept less than the best from yourself & those around you in your life.-
