All good dude. It’s just ridiculous that he says we only support him or are optimistic because he is Black. There are plenty of reasons to be excited about him. None less than the fact that Kelly and staff like him a lot.

Personally I wish they would make all QBs stay behind the line of scrimmage while evaluating and make the decision solely based on the passing game.
More cutting edge policy for the world of college sports!
I'm sure the powers that be will go ahead and file this one right next to your left handed shortstop advocacy.

Ok fine, I still bet you supported a Myles. I can tell because you are butt hurt over Daniels.

I support all athletes, and wish them all success. I have no idea why you think I’m butt hurt over Daniels. You’re making shite up now.

Fair enough, sorry man. But there is definitely a trend here about former Myles supporters hating on Daniels, I guarantee that Griz dude did.

In his defense I think he was saying from a coaching perspective not a rule perspective. Still dumb though, yea let’s not use the fact our QB is one of the fastest players on the field to our advantage. Also people like him act like we have Tom Brady on our roster or are drafting him number one overall. We just think he can be good for us and that he has impressed the coaching staff.

I’m excited to have football back man. I wasn’t excited in 2020 bc all of the Covid shite(limited fans etc). And I wasn’t excited last year because we had the same staff, etc. I feel different this year, not that we will be great, but we won’t be a joke

Same here. I really feel this could be a 2018 type season possibly ending in a NY6 game.

That can be an asset when trying to extend plays. I worry about running QB’s running against SEC defenses week after week. We have elite receivers…if he can get the ball to them with accuracy, I’m all in.

Dude it could, last year we had OC and DC that had never been head coordinaters before. This is a whole new ball game as far as coaching competency. We did good work in the transfer portal. People forget Converse was an all big XII player last year. Gardner and the two guys from Arky as well(who are both established players, one was their team captain last year. ) The receivers are nasty. Boutte is projected the first wide out drafted even though there is a returning biletnikoff award winner.

Me too. I think this team will be a lot better than people think.

Coaches have praised him for getting the ball out quickly. And he has a legit deep ball. He isn’t going to sit in the pocket and pick you apart over the middle like Burrow, but not many will. But make no mistake, his legs will be part of the game plan with him. We have to use that level of athleticism. Him throwing a good deep ball is important because they can’t just stack the box.

And he also already played with a receiver who got drafted first round. So he can get good players the ball if they are there.

I watched them too. I saw nothing that gives me great confidence in his passing game. Maybe a different QB coached has helped him. One thing is for sure. We are all going to get to find out soon.

What has given anybody else on the roster more confidence than in Daniels? Serious question

Hey we lost Pineda and Young - if Guidry isn’t ready and Thompson is the same Tre might be worth a shot.

Neither did The Tigers. I know they are leaps and bounds above their showing in our bowl game. JD got a transfer. We got a new coaching staff. 21 was no one’s finest hour.
I don’t care who wins the QB position but, 21 doesn’t decide it 22 does.
Plus, from what I read and the things I have seen, the receivers are just catching anything coming near them. That will make them both look better.

Many on here do not acknowledge just how bad Jake Peetz play calling was for Max Johnson was at LSU

2020 MJ with Slinger (and a depleted team) was so much better than 2021 MJ with Peetz. The player didn't get worse, the system dramatically changed around him.

O and Peetz did not do what was needed to get Nuss some reps here and there to be prepped for if Max got hurt. Nuss' redshirt gets burned in the process and there is no controversy over finding a QB for the bowl game.

They need to plan to get Howard the max amount of playing time and saving his redshirt. Should JD or Nuss go down with an injury, the redshirt gets burned.

LSU has a QB history since Perilloux (sp?) getting suspended of not getting quality reps and preparedness of a 3rd string to be a 1st string the next year.

I do believe Brian Kelly will manage this better than his predecessors.

It’s weird how so many in this fanbase think everyone else in college football can improve year to year but Daniels. It is such an odd thought process.

No dipshit, Tiger fans are praying he improves. Also college football is littered with once great highly payed x-coaches that made mistakes.

I hear an expensive Cheese burger frying now.

Go look at ASU games from last year and the 2 previous years. Daniel's certainly did not improve year to year.
