I was as disappointed when daniels announced he was coming

back this year as i was when JJ came back to the team after getting his criminal matter over with.

first, Kelly said this wasn't the year, he needed more time to build the team. He was likely right, which meant that we would be better served going forward having an experienced qb for next year. it wasn't going to matter who was playing qb. I like Nuss, but he's going to be making more mistakes than he would have if he would've gotten the experience this year. we could've been set up for next year.

then we had a lot of hype, and expectations grew. but for me all that was dashed in the loss to FSU. same old Daniels. a good college qb, but a sandlot qb. He just doesn't see the field very well. I figured we'd win the same amount of games with either qb.

i truly don't hate the guy - i know he's doing his best for my school. it would've been a lot more fun this year for me watching Nuss throw it, since I wasn't expecting a real run anyway.
