I tend to agree... Turner is in there because of "lack of better options" in terms of communicating and prob whom they trust. but martinez has done well and is bigger and stronger.

I’m not saying Martinez is an all American in just saying he’s better than little Charles Turner and I bet Martinez would get better each game as he gets experienced to being the C and making calls for the OL. When they are in the huddle you have 4 huge guys and then you have Charles Turner who standing next to the rest of the OL is just too small.

extremely small sample size but Heard doesn't look ready to be an SEC OT. Great size and strength but isn't as nimble as he is gonna be next year. An injury may force him into action at some point this year in an SEC game then we will have a better idea of how far he needs to go to be a starting OT.

Martinez had all spring as the #1 center while Turner was hurt and couldn’t take the job. So it doesn’t look like the coaches agree with you. At least at this point.
