Just curious if you know the answer to this kwaj. I have a friend who is a huge Alabama fan and he swears that at the first Alabama v.s. Auburn game that a drunk Alabama fan shot the eagle out of the sky. Is there any truth to this story??

Hat, we all know the only thing a drunk Alabama fan can shoot off is his mouth.....

I think we've found a winner:
We prep the bird with Cajun Injector marinade, let it sit in the refrigerator overnight, and then deep-fry, 6 min. per pound, just like my usual Thanksgiving turkey. Serve with rice & oyster dressing.

So who's going to set up a blind?
Hey! We can stake out a small grey bulldog (they call him UGA) as a decoy to get the bird into range!
This might WORK!

And is #2 shot necessary, or do we opt for a better pattern with #4?

Haha, that's true, I figured it was a bs story. I just wanted to hear from an Auburn point of view.

I like you...so we will give you a choice....

Army CID?

Treasury Dept CID?

Marshall County Sheriff's Deputy?

Now out of those three, I would probably take my chances with the Deputy.

He has no authority in Lee County, of course.

But if you are being an a-hole, a lot of Auburn and LSU fans would get a kick out of you being handcuffed to a telephone pole, while we head off to the game....

Isnt a Federal Agency. Look at my profile and see what I do for a living. They have no jurisdiction in the civilian sector.

CID is a joke.

Like I said, wont happen. Neither of the CID guys have jurisdiction.

ETA: I go down to AU all the time. Great atmosphere and my 2nd favorite place to go to games. I fish alot on Lake Martin too. I wouldnt act an arse.

Yeah ahole, and how would you like it if someone tried to harm Mike? The AU guy is just trying to be a good host.

Even someone from Alabama wouldn't stupid enough to assault a full grown Bengal Tiger ... right ???

I suspect that the answer to both of your questions about this guy is "Yes"......I bet he wouldn't think someone tazing Mike the Tiger would be so cool. Thanks for not letting him get away with such stupidity.

kwaj,
1) Good luck to you and Auburn. Classy post, and I've enjoyed your considered rejoinders to the responses from the subsequent 13 year olds. I hope there's no reason for you guys to display your badges, unless it's to cut a lady in the portalet line.

2) Now, my daddy only spoke French till he went to 1st grade ,(JOKE MODE ON) and regarding how to cook War Eagle --- first, you make a roux. (JOKE MODE OFF)

3) Now for a friendly jab --- sorry I missed the baseball game with MSU last Sat.

That eagle flight over the stadium is one of the great traditions in college football. Kwaj, look up some friends (and brother and sister-in-law) of mine tailgating in the same area with a couple of 5th wheelers and motorhomes. Will be badges there also. Will have loud music and great food. If you find Kelly and Julie, tell him that Rick sent you.

Good posts my friend....

About this part...

I saw my older brother last night over at my mom's. He is a hard core Bama fan and when I saw his truck parked in the driveway and walked in, I fully expected a good case of the red-arse waiting for me about the game at MSU.....

But no kidding....he said quote:

"In forty years of watching college football, that was truly the most entertaining game I have ever seen; like "Keystone Cops on Ice" or something."
