I want these two teams badly. Nebraska, and Penn St. LSU was robbed in the Orange Bowl by a late hit that kept the winning drive late in the game to beat LSU 21-20. That was a great Nebraska team that the Tigers stood toe to toe with. The victory by Nebraska gave them the National title. Then of course two great Nebraska teams beat LSU in the Sugar Bowl. Penn St. beat a uninspiring LSU team in the Orange Bowl when the Tigers offense was horrendous. Cappeletti gained fifty-five yards if I remember correctly. It's time to schedule these teams on a home and home.

I wish we would schedule Nebraska in JerryWorld some year soon. I'd like a home-and-home with Penn State.

Maybe because it’s a luxurious fancy HUGE stadium. Maybe because that’s where America’s team plays.
Jerry’s world is always a great place to play IMO

That game was the end of the 1982 season. Penn St and SMU were 1 and 2 in both polls just FYI.

We need payback on Penn State for having to play them in a cow pasture

I’ve got no problem with Nebraska. That Orange Bowl game slipped away from us. Stovall made some poor fourth down decisions, but the Tigers played a helluva game. In that and the two following Sugar Bowls, the Huskers were the better team by a pretty wide margin. We weren’t there yet.

The bowl loss to Penn State was horse shite.

I was at that Orange bowl. Miami was a dump back then.

After last year, just looking forward. We had the best year probably ever in College football. Just look at the rankings of the teams we beat. It trumps every trash talking, smack talking comparison probably in terms of forever. Not looking back, just smiling with the sun in my face, bring em on, all of them......

The same cow pasture Penn State played in? We need payback against Les Miles. We should play Kansas and hang 100 on them.

Both teams should have refused to play on that shite. Luckily no one was seriously injured.
Don’t mean that to sound like a pussy but that game is just an extra exhibition game so it should have been ready.
I guess I somewhat remember multiple events happening prior to the game and the field not have time to take but still. Worst I’ve seen since the the invention of drainage systems.

Definitely Notre Shame and we need more payback on Bama. We have to end their dynasty if we want to be on top. We have to go 3-1 against them over these next 4 years

Not gonna lie... Clemson payback on the biggest stage in college football felt really, REALLY good. Especially since it was our shitty loss to them that legitimized them in the first place... Felt like some wrongs were righted and disillusions were made clear again.
