Tess thinks every single play is a walk off game winner in the super bowl.

I’ll take Tessitore and McElroy over the old days of listening to fatass Verne and bitch Gary gargling Saban’s balls on every fricking play.

Ward's shot on Richardson was cheap...it' the Tom Brady rule from several years ago when Brady blew out his knee.

He thought Ward’s hit on AR was worth 30 yards

He’s not worth paying attention to….yet LSU/Bama in a few weeks is going to be insufferable with him again cheering on his home team

Also said the Jay Ward play should have been a 30 yard penalty

Did not have a problem with this comment. Don’t think he thought the kid did it intentionally but that it was a bit reckless. And it’s hard to argue it’s not when you end up around a guy’s knees like that.

The fact that the rule is written that when the defender simply lands on the QB as flag must be thrown is the controversial part

He didn’t simply land on him he bear hugged him and drove him into the ground. That’s the call. He didn’t have to do that that’s letting go of the quarterback because the ball had long left his hand. Plus where he tackled him was around the chest and head with his face mask in under his chin. All of that played a part in that call. While he didn’t pick up JD and throw him into the ground he certainly did not need to finish the tack on the way he did.

agreed.

I find it incredible that so many on this board think the Ward hit was fine, but if a UF defender did that to our QB they'd be screaming bloody murder.

I just don't understand how fans allow themselves to become so blinded by emotion.

I love the Tigers as much as anyone, but my vision isn't clouded by that love. I try to see things objectively.

McElroy is the best college commentator to me and I enjoy listening to him by a mile over anyone else

AND he went to bama… but it’s true

I think if the defender had let go and put his hands down instead of huggng him all the way down they would not have thrown that flag.

He’s really annoying. It’s like he’s over doing it on the games he does now to try to prove something to his producers for taking him off MNF. McElroy I liked a lot better when he was in the studio providing insight. He annoyed me last night also. Calling our penalties controversial but Florida's were never controversial or dirty. When Florida had that late hit on us he was silent but went off on jay wards.
