But he was annoying af last night. Every successful play we had, he seemed to find a way that it was somehow negative. Also pumped AR15 all night while JD had a sensational game.

Also said the Jay Ward play should have been a 30 yard penalty

Edited: Wrong about him not pumping JD

I usually don’t mind him, but his continuous whining on the roughing the QB when Richardson was hit below the knees saying it should be a 30 yard penalty was excessive…

I thought he would never shut up about it…

That was a pretty dirty hit though.

Not into the "30 yard penalty" issue but Ward's hit was dirty, based on his play over last season & carrying over into this season's. His late hit penalty was just another example. He's always chirping & pushing the envelope at the end of plays.

I ranted on this last night and was gonna let it go but…. I over looked the 30 yards penalty comment, but when he called the #9 Floridia Roughing the passer “controversial” I knew he but hurt the tigers were winning

Uh no, it is absolutely a controversial call. NFL is having the same issue.

LSU fans think his reaction to Ward's roughing the passer is a product of him playing for Bama because LSU fans like to play the victim for some weird reason.

The reality is that he reacted like that because he is a former QB.

What was controversial? Text book roughing, that play was nowhere near the NFL Brady debacle

Tessatore wouldn’t leave the ‘Won’t Back Down’ pun alone last night. Repeated it at least 7 times over the course of the broadcast. He’s fingernails on a chalkboard.

I play like that could end a player’s career!! I think it should be treated the same as targeting!! Ejection

By the book yes, and the flag has to be thrown because of that. McElroy even said so. That part isn't arguable.

The fact that the rule is written that when the defender simply lands on the QB as flag must be thrown is the controversial part.

I found it really funny that he calls it controversial and appropriate in the same sentence.

He said the rule was controversial not the call. He said it was the right call multiple times.
