I truly thought LSU would be playing in an elimination game tonight.

What an amazing win. Can anyone reasonably continue to say that Arkansas is the better team now that LSU has won 4 of 5? Anyway, that was the conventional wisdom most of the year.
Now we will have Anderson and Eyanson ready to goeaux.

We really needed an Arky choke job to not be. I'd like us as a favorite today with Eyanson though. They weren't beating us twice.

If someone took the time to put a compilation thread of all the melts last night it would be pretty epic

Works out really well for pitching rotation vs Coastal. All of our guys will be rested since we are not focusing on an elimination game

We would’ve had Anderson too. I think we would’ve won today for sure but we really needed to do it last night so both of those guys are fresh for the title series

Meh. They scored 2 runs on a drop by Jones at 1B (that would have ended the inning) and we lost a run when Brown slipped on the rundown play. The difference is Arky’s mistakes all happened in the bottom of the 9th.

When Milam and Jones started to hit, I think LSU is the best team in the country. When those 2 are struggling, we get the shitty LSU offense that we've witnessed towards the end of the season....
