Honestly, watching Mulkey last night my takeaway was this is just what the team needs. They needed to be punched in the mouth and realize they can't just walk on to the floor and believe their own hype.

The best LSU basketball team in my lifetime the 80-81 team, lost their second game of the year in the Great Alaskan Shootout by 10-points to an Arkansas team that was you guessed it, ranked No. 20. It was really worse than that, we got whipped.
We didn't lose again until the last game of the year in Rupp by 1 point to Kentucky.
We ended up playing that same Arky team in the Sweet 16 and blew their doors off. We'll be o.k.
