re: I thought SECN+ was available on ESPN+? Why can’t I get any of these recent games?

I wish there was a local television station that owned the rights to these games. All of this new technologies and apps and BS, it confuses this old man.
I understand it might be better for some but it would suck for us out of town fans. Can't get Cox feeds in Houston. Streaming is the way it should be. It just got confusing when ESPN+ came out.

No it didn't.

It is doing the same to me.

Not for you and me but some have not grasped the fact that ESPN+ is its own subscription.

We call that Darwinism.

The having 2 seperate logins for one app really screws with some people's head.

I understand why it is done, but having all of the networks under the ESPN app drives some of the confusion I believe. I would say there would be less trouble if SECN, SECN+, etc had there own app.

Exactly. And the app is two things. An extension of your cable/Dish provider and the paid ESPN+ app. You have to be logged in to both to have the benefits of both.
To make this thread more convuluted (if that is possible), on a smart tv, I have noticed that even though I am logged in thru my cable provider, I have to open the ESPN+ tab at the top page and scroll thru live events to find an SEC+ game. Sometimes LSU baseball is shown and other times it is not. A simple search of LSU locates it immediately when that happens. Also, if you go from TV to TV, the ESPN app will tell you the game is not available and you must re-login with your provider info on the new TV. Lastly, it will periodically log me out of my provider account for no reason forcing me to re-login.
I am not a boomer, I have an ESPN+ account, and I get the SEC Network thru my cable provider, and I am well versed in the technology. I have been doing this shite for years, and as much fun as it is to blame it on boomers, the ESPN smart TV app is the most convoluted, mind of its own, login dropping app in existence.

We just have to accept that certain people aren't going to learn how to do this and no amount of instruction is going to help them.
There should be a page on this site that has step by step instructions on how to watch. If someone posts a thread asking how to watch and admin should reply with a link to that page then lock the thread.

I have a subscription to ESPN+ which also Carries SECN+… I’m watching the game now…when you put in your verification code it will ask you what service provider you use.. then it will prompt you to sign in with your email account that is linked to your service provider… that’s it…
You logged in with your service provider which gives you access to SECN+. ESPN+ is irrelevant to this discussion. I also have ESPN+ but it’s my Hulu subscription that allows me to watch this game.

I enjoy watching the Boomers struggle with this stuff.

Some ol' baw actually said he wished the game was on fricking WVLA instead of being streamed. I chuckled.

Every year they act like this is the first year. When it’s been damn near a decade to have learned this shite

What does this even mean? You are either paying a cable package to catch SECN, or you are not. There isn't any additional charge for SECN+.

LMAO… I’m watching it now.. you have to match whatever email addy you used to the service provider you also use.. it might not work for you but it’s working for me.. ESPN+ is also linked to the SECN+… I’ve been having it for the last 2 years.. LoL.. fricking retards…
Strictly ESPN+ does not include SECN. You can argue until you’re blue in the face if you want, but you’re 1000% wrong. You’re catching the game because you have a SERVICE PROVIDER, not because you have ESPN+.

If you have ESPN+ then you do have SECN. You need to get the ESPN app on your smart tv then search LSU. I have watched them all that way.
