I think this team is poised to make a run this year

The roster is almost back to 100% health wise for the exception of Smith and Boutte
Oline is close to having their solid starting five
Defensive pieces have moved around to be better
Special teams is weak but improving each week
The schedule sets up nice with Auburn being a dumpster fire and having the Tennessee game at home will lead to an electric tiger stadium. Then again to a suspect Florida team.

I still don’t get the 9-3 or 8-4 predictions anymore.
I’m thinking 10-2 at worst and maybe a trip to Atlanta.

I do think Alabama is the only surefire loss, we could beat everyone else on the schedule, but honestly, we won't. 8-4 would be a solid first year for BK, considering what he started with.

I have no expectations for this year except for seeing improvement and we have already seen that. I think we are in for a roller coaster ride this season while BK works out the kinks.

I’d argue it would be an amazing year given what he started with. We aren’t talking about him taking over a typical LSU roster. Dude has double digit transfers starting who will start in 2023.

I agree with the OP to a point…I do also agree that this teams best days are ahead of them, and that we could without question make a run this year…with 3 dozen schollie players outta 85 available to start the CBK era, im just happy with a team that progresses, is scrappy, and never quits until all zeros are on the clock…that said, even with best days ahead and a run possible I still feel like we take another couple of lumps along the way, while also surprising a couple of teams that we are dogs to. It wouldn’t shock me for the Gumps to be the only game we’re not in, it also won’t shock me if we end up with 4/5 L’s this year…keep growing and keep learning Tigers, i for 1 will be without a voice every Monday until we can’t play another game this season…GDT’s
