Unbelievable that people are trashing CPM.

He recruits unbelievable talent. He develops them well--look at Hess--he is MUCH better pitcher than he was in February.

He is class act and outstanding coach.

He makes some boneheaded decisions once in a while, that's true. But you and I would too.

People need to stop and realize we just played for a natty. We wouldn't have gotten there without the good decisions he made this year.... plus, I don't think any of those errors tonite was attributed to him. The young-uns will learn. They did a remarkable job propping the team up this year when our big boppers were hamstrung.

True. And he has done alot for the program and University. We'll likely never get another like him and sloppy play is on the players.
The boneheaded decisions are the most frustrating because of how over thought they are. It's like he is trying to play chess when it is just checkers.

We won the SEC and played for the natl title and then lost our 3rd best pitcher. In the end we had some errors and drew the short stick on two innings of big rallies cut short.

Honestly not that upset. Gators played well and credit is due.

sorry, but his demeanor on the bench sucks; does he ever get the players fired up? looks like he's always in a mind quandary trying to figure out his next move; he surely doesn't exude confidence to me and I sometimes question his decision-making

Yea because the guy he just lost to in the national championship is such an animated dynamic personality. Baseball managers aren't supposed to get fired up. They have a hundred decisions to make on every pitch. Part of the job is to stay as even keeled as possible through good and bad until the game is over.
