1st SEC home game of the season at 8:15 against a historic rival? We may get beat, but it damn sure ain’t gonna be because we sleepwalk through this. Expect full engagement.

I would have thought that for the first home game of the year as well coming off a huge win and they were flat as could be.

I predicated a win at AUburn correct. Should have beaten them by more correct. Forty nine to ten the trophy stays in LA another year

Ole miss has the offense to make it interesting for sure if we are having trouble getting stops. If our first team can shut them down we will blow them out.

Depends on which LSU team shows up. It's been a Jeckyll and Hide show. The team that beat Miami and Auburn will blow out Ole Piss. But the team that dicked around with SLU and Tech is very beatable.

Aranda can't do it all by himself though.

I'm as big of an Aranda fan as anyone, but he's not above being outcoached. I'm not saying it's gonna happen, but this is a high powered offense we're facing tomorrow. If LSU can shut these guys down, that will be a huge statement.

Weird, I’m feeling it’ll be a humiliation for Ole Miss

Once you realize how bad Ole Miss defense is, your tune will change quickly. We will have 250 rushing yards in this game.

Tonight our HS was playing a team that was not very good. Deep into the 4Q it was 3-0 in our favor. 3 fumbles, 2 int for us and not very inspired play. On a Normal Friday we would be up 21 - 0 easy early 2Q. Anything can happen. 10-0 us now. Crazy, I tell you.

Fulton giving up big plays worries me.

Actually, I should have said that they came out flat as could be in the second half, especially on offense. The defense did step up when they had to. Some might say they got lucky with the bad snap that Stevens recovered, but I think the pressure during the game probably factored into that. So, flat as could be is probably some hyperbole.

I’ve lived through too many Ole Miss games where LSU was heavily favored and was upset or barely squeaked by. I think we will win, and hopefully by a convincing margin, but this game is one to never take for-granted. I’m expect O to have them fired up and ready. But if they are flat, it could be a long night.

I took moneyline on this game. Peej could say LSU is a lock and Ole Miss still wouldn't have a chance.
