I would have probably stayed home and eaten a peanut butter and jelly sandwich instead of going out in public for lunch.

No, sorry — I take this as a giant middle finger. He was fired. He had the opportunity to make staff changes but chose not to, which tells me he didn’t want to be here. This is just another example of his arrogance and his attitude of being above everyone here. Going to lunch at a popular Baton Rouge spot feels intentional — like a public display of “I got my buyout.”

bullshite! You are soft.

Kelly knew what he was getting into when he went out. It is no secret that camera phones exist. If he does not want the attention, then use a food delivery app. Plain and simple. Kelly has set this program back and tarnished LSU football for a few years. That guy can frick off!

How about you blame the guy that gave him the contract.

This. Why no one is hounding Woodward and looking to place his head upon a pike is mind boggling.

Root cause analysis escapes most of us here I guess.

Incredible how disturbed some of you people are.

it’s because most are miserable in their personal and vocational lives
they live vicariously through the lives of a bunch of 18 to 21 year olds
i dont give 2 spits how much he walks away with, some billionaires are going to cover the cost of woody’s mistake
that said, i’m glad he is gone
hopefully the remaining coaches can pump some vigor back into the team and they dont get embarrassed by bama…

I’m saying the exact same stuff I said when he was hired. I’m glad he’s gone though. Terrible hire for lsu

All the evidence of him being a crappy person were there LONG before LSU hired him. The admin just ignored them and signed the “big name” coach. In the end, blame the people that hired him.

Man

Some of you are miserable. I wouldn’t be surprised if one of you posters break in his house by reading this vitriol

Thanks, but who cares. BK was not a sympathetic person. Seems he cared little about doing right by the program. Some would say he has it coming.

Well, after the losses this year, maybe he didn’t want to be here.

Geez… You guys are reading way too much into it. Dude just sat through tense meetings and got canned. Rich a-hole or not, that’s gonna be stressful. Probably just unwinding with his wife.
