Historic programs, and pretty close in quality in all sports across the board and I also respect them.

Fans are also a lot easier to deal with than the Texas Horns uptight asses and or getting involved in the Aggies weird shtick.

I always look forward to playing them.

LSU's home football game with Oklahoma last year was the high point of a disappointing season. Who can forget Chris Hilton's two "impossible" TD catches, and Aaron Anderson's incredible return which turned that game around.

They know their place when it comes to LSU so I don’t mind them.

Just get ready to hear "Boomer Sooner" a lot. As in all the time, whenever they do something good, even more than "Rocky Top" from Tennessee. If you're ready for that, then sure.

Lost lots of respect for them when Joe and Jefferson beat the living shite out of them in 2019.

I was there for that one, in Atlanta. My dad was screaming at us to go for 2, to hit 50 at halftime. We did not, but we ultimately found lower seats to watch the end of it, probably some that OU fans had vacated.

When I visit family in Kansas, the OU fans that find their way around to there are absolutely insufferable.

Gotta have some equal respect or it gets out of hand for the lesser teams fans. Thats just how it goes.

I think we respect their football History but have gotten them the last 3 including the Natty from 03’.

Things may have changed, but in 2003 they brought a lot of inbreds type to Nola

Oklahoma already has 2 major rivals. It doesn't need one with LSU, and I don't want one with them.

Boomer Sooner is trite and hackneyed, but I'd rather hear that than The Eyes Of Texas or the Aggie War Hymn.

You are clearly a woman, by the way you post (or a very gay dude), and obviously very liberal.

My question is at what point were you brainwashed and coached into white guilt? Early on in college, or following CNN/MSNBC later in life? Most of the posters on this board realize that white women are the real threat to this country, and quite frankly, you shouldn't be allowed to vote. You people vote on "feelings" and some of you virtue signal, but none of you ever give up what you have materially. I was just curious, did you pick this mental illness up in college?

We beat them in the National Championship game and then hung almost half a hundred on them by halftime of a playoff game. So yeah, I’d say Oklahoma fans hate us. But for now, they are kind of an Arkansas to us.

They would have to beat us in something for it to be a rivalry, but i get where you're coming from.

Have some OU friends in Dallas, they can’t stand LSU due to the last (three) whippings

I think it’s a pretty good rivalry already and could get more intense with the passing years.

And not just in football—it’s already a good rivalry in gymnastics.

Don’t think it’ll be a rivalry but it’ll be what people hoped A&M would be. We’re both competitive in a lot of sports and while the animosity might never build to a rivalry there’s going to be a lot of big games between the two. I do think the SEC is going to protect the annual game and put it on rivalry week.
