I think Canada resigns after this season.

For reasons that are not entirely clear yet (and I'm sure there are multiple ones), the offense isn't clicking like he is accustomed to. Perhaps O is meddling (Moscona thinks so). There appears to be tension in the relationship. Yes, Canada is making a ton of money, but his enjoyment of life has to be pretty low. This is a pressure cooker like none he has experienced. He will have feelers out by Nov 1.

And walk away from a $1.5 million contract?!?! You don’t understand how money works, do you?

Agreed. Maybe even before the end if they're willing to pay his full year salary. He won't have a problem getting another job next season.

would think a needy team would want him and Canada can just tell them he's had Yaw Yaw getting in his way. But is their a program that will want to match the 1.5 mill for a coordinator.

He's admitted as much, so that one is obvious.

I'd be willing to be pretty miserable at work for 1.5 mil/year.

Yeah he's not resigning. He may take a pay cut to leave, but he isn't just walking away from that much money.

If he's not yet, he will be more and more as this thing unravels. People don't just magically change that part of their personality.

Ed Orgeron has his grubby gumbo fingers all up in the offense, no doubt.

There's factors that hurt Canada if he walks away from 3 schools in 3 seasons. He is paid as well as any OC so he needs this to work out. Only thing that might help O. O better apologize, make shite right with Canada and stay away. It's still early so maybe the offense gets shite together.

6 consecutive years at Northern Illinois
7 consecutive years at Indiana
3 consecutive years at NC State

What's the next false narrative to be pushed?

There is a ridiculous amount of speculation in this post with Moscona being your source, and even he may be reaching on his assumptions

He has become O’s scapegoat. He gets blamed for all failures on offense because “O stays out of it” until O gets called out for being an absent HC then “(O) I meddled in the first half”.

Of course he is going to leave, he wants out before his stock gets hit too hard. The problem is, everyone said O would HAVE to hire the best coordinators. I had a problem with this because he would eventually miss on one. Well, he hired the best and we lost to Troy. Coaches talk, and I gautantee once Canada leaves and the talking starts it will be next to impossible to get top coordinators again.

No coordinator wants to go somewhere where the HC is a proven failure, meddles, they become the scapegoat, and kids have no passion. O was here for a couple years and was the RC one of those years and look at how many players left the program when he took over!

I’m not normally a doom and gloom kinda guy, but the future looks pretty dark with the current admin.

I think he is likely already checking around. He would be wise to at least be thinking along these lines.

Likewise Aranda might also be coming to the realization that he is in a "nest" of political mess at LSU, in which he does not need to be entangled.

This happens when you scare/kick off multiple quality OL and then turn around and refuse to actually prepare your players. This is literally the weakest LSU team I've seen since the early 90's. Hell, even the 98/99 teams were more physical, and it is across the whole team. That is on O and his horrid strategy to prepare for this season.
