Not that I'm anywhere near that age bracket but I wonder what the age of college transfers and high school students is roughly.

Let's stick to our colors and tradition. Black isn't one of them.

If we are forced to, I don't mind going Oregon and showing off our vibrant colors in an in your face style. Good renditions and concepts above.

I'd be cool if we embraced the darkness for this Ole Miss game if we can't wear white.

Sure. Just no black.

Repeat after me.
Black is not a school color for LSU.
Black is not a school color for LSU.

BUT white is not an official school color of LSU either. White and black are neutral colors. I think all of LSU's official logos have white in them, some LSU official logos DO have black in them too though.

It’s not even that for me. It’s that black purple and yellow never go together well. I don’t want to hear a fudd call it gold either. We call it gold but it’s yellow. Should be gold but it’s half a century too late to go back. Gold goes with black but if we are actually wearing gold then it’s a throwback which would have even less reason for black being included. It should be GWG every game besides 1 or 2 GPG a year, 1 WPW/WWW a year, a WGW every 1 or 2 years and a special uni every 3 to 4 years like the old gold helmets, the white ghost stripe helmet and the purple helmet uni

I Concur 100%!
Be special by not having to get people to look at the way you look! Try tradition as an icon instead of vanity. Try that on for size.
I love players recognizing their teammates for helping them get the touchdown by placing the ball on the ground and then trotting off the field. All this "look at what I just did" is so sickening to witness today.
We, as fans, celebrate because we know it took a team effort. The thrill of success is not measured by an individual performance in a team sport like football; rather, it comes from the trenches outward, all the way to crossing that goal line. It's the ultimate capitalistic goal.
But today, we have a lot of players turning their five seconds of camera fame into a narcissistic party of one. It's all about them! Like I said, it makes me want to turn it off until they disappear from my screen.

Wearing special uniforms to makes you look like you are nervous. We should wear our normal uniforms. We don't need a prop to beat these guys.

I find it amusing that people say things like this. Like, getting downvotes will somehow affect my life or day in some measurable way. I visit Tigerdroppings mostly for amusement and a way to pass time.
I made a suggestion about a color scheme for an alternative uniform and not about the way to gain eternal life.
One is important in life, the other, not so much.
I’m always amazed by the vitriol an innocuous post can illicit on here, and I still can’t understand people who get so worked up with others for simply posting a different opinion, suggestion or thought.
I suppose because I’m older, I don’t understand why people can’t behave civilly with others who don’t think exactly like we do? Sadly, I’ve been guilty of it to some degree in the past as well.
